SMS for ACT! & Propel !!

How the ACT! SMS Mobile Messenger works! 

Once installed the ACT Mobile Messenger is installed it will add a menu item in your Start Bar called ACT Mobile Messenger. You can add the ACT Mobile Messenger to the ACT! Custom Commands to add an ACT Mobile Messenger icon to your toolbar. The following screen-shots will show you the screens to expect when sending your SMS Text Messages.

Most peMost people are familiar with SMS from one mobile phone to another. The only difference with Mobile Messenger SMS is the fact that the message is generated from a users computer rather than a mobile. Mobile Messenger has an account with the Telecoms, such as Telstra, Optus etc. Our main computer is linked directly into their SMS Centre. (The SMS Centre handles all SMS traffic. It receives the SMS from a mobile or outside source and then delivers the message to the correct mobile. This mobile can be anywhere in the world with any Telecom company).

The mobile messenger software connects your computer to the Mobile Messenger Server. This enables you or any users from your company to send a message directly from your computer through our server to mobile phones worldwide.  In addition to using the Mobile Messenger Software, companies can send messages from their own applications or custom software. It is very simple for us to show your IT department how to customise applications and connect them directly to the Mobile Messenger Server.
